You'll have to wait for Iaco and lt possibly ... it's a long way from afternoon .
As Loracius storms in the room with the scroll in his hands.
"Ah finally, you got the scroll?" Asks Ringget, receiving a tired smile from Loracius. "Yes, I have, but it's in Latin, you have a go at it, what does it say?" He says.
"Hmm, k, let me see: 1. First shallt thou count the number of letters. 2. Then shallt thou look for the right box formation to place them in. 3. After all that shallt thou be able to read the message from above. The message will reveal itself to you then. Yes, I still knew the first step, but I had forgotten the others. I counted the letters, and I got 115 letters, do you know any box formations for that?" Ringget asks, putting the scroll down besides his notes.

Hang on... where's a calculator... *Leaves room and finds the math department ;D where he borrows a calculator* 5 and 23... can't think of anymore... unless it uses fractions Wait! 1 and 115! *Smiles benignly*

"I've tried using the normal boxes, no 81, 100 or 121 possible. You'd think they'd make it easy. Must be one tough nut of a secret." He says, getting dispirited again, this scroll seems to have been doing that a lot lately.

D'oh, sorry I'm a bit late...
*Jack looks a tiny bit worried at the talk of killing and robbery coming from next to him, and shifts nervously in his seat slightly away from them.*

"Ok boys and no girls. It's time for you to come with me. " The man in uniform says, he doesn't look much like a guide, but they all line up and stroll after him.
He walks down a marble corridor with carpets decorating the floors with several artistic sceneries of religieus decors. The man stops in another circular atrium in the centre of the square building and turns around to face the guests.
"Well, as you can see, this building has been very decorated with both furniture and building materials. The reason for such was that the scientists working here are of the finest class and rank among both the economical and scientific societies.
Nobody would like to work in a place that would not be able to uphold their grandeur and, if I may say so, impressively big egos. Well, you never heard it from me, but most of them are smug and irritating. You'll meet some of those later."
As he moves on, he walks around the fountain in the centre of the room on which stands a statue spewing water. A plaque underneath it says: 'to our most humble benefactor: Sir Charles Rielghy'.
After having entered a room with astounding dimensions, opening up from the door inwards, the man turns around again and looks them in the eyes. "Right, so here we are in this humongous library where several prints and some originals of ancients texts are being kept. The library is at the scientist's day and night disposal, overseen by the wonderful Mme Pearle. She keeps the texts catalogued and processes huge stacks of procedures daily to increase our collection."
As he wanders through the dusty, high shelves, his feet patting on the tile, checker board floor, he clicks with his fingers on the rhythm of the latest hit on the radio that is playing at the librarian's desk. The lamps are dimly lit, for the sun is still up and wafting heat and light through the big windows at both the west and the east walls of the library. It apparently spans the entire downstairs.
The man walks up a staircase embedded in a stone circular shaft, leading to the second floor, obviously. On top of the stairs, he enters the second door in the corridor and reveals to them the musty lab where Loracius and Riggnet are both bowing themselves over the scroll. They both look up at who might disturb them. Riggnet immediately sighs and stands up.
"Look, Jack, you don't need to annoy us with guests okay? We're on the edge of a breakthrough here, get them out will you?" He pleads, to deaf man's ears obviously.
"Well, if so, then why did it take you two full years of non-productivity to get there. I don't think a second will count, show these people around and explain to them your trade will you?" The man smiles, pleased with his little sneer.
Carry on , there will be errors in this post, I'll do those tomorrow!

*Noticing his chance, Jack edges away from following on behind the guard and calls to Riggnet.* Hello! I was trying to get an appointment to see you but then this guy came along and he didn't look like solmeone to argue with so... erm, I wanted to talk about the 'Scroll of the Elders'?

"Oh well, I seem to be having a better audience to you than to him there." Ringget says, pointing over his shoulder to the guide. He had turned himself to the scroll to concentrate on it again.
"This scroll is called 'the scroll of the elders'. It never had a name, but we like to refer to it as such. The scroll is over a thousand years old but has only been rediscovered by the humanists in the sixteenth century.
This scroll is said to contain important information of an ancient civilization and people like to think it holds magical powers.
Only two years back has this institute been able to get their hands on the original. My friend and me, he's Loracius and I'm Ringget, have been called in to decypher it.
We've only recently uncovered some of the possibilities to decypher it. You know the box of he who crossed the Rubicon? Well, we've been trying to apply it to the first paragraph, but it isn't working out at all."

Is this disturbance really necessary? Can't you show them the water cooler instead? We haven't really got time for have-a-go amateur decryptionists to stand round and try and break this ancient riddle.

*turns to Loracious* Sor-RY! The guide was right..
*heads out to the main hall*
(in the doorway) All I know is that the first words of the second to fourth paragraphs, Ouersdkj, Paaemsmlhe and Vpjoudrc means consecutively Moon, Star and Sun in a language the elders of a minor island in Oceania used for rituals...
*goes to pre-mentioned watercoolor to grab a glass of DHMO before leaving*
