Well, riddils count as a distraction...
Hot on the heels of Amaunators giant encrypted riddil role-play comes the riddil thread! Where abstract clues hint at even more vague and irrelevant answers!
Where will you find roads without cars, forests without trees and cities without houses?
Just post your answers and I'll tell you if you're right or not.

I didn't do it. Nobody saw me do it. You can't prove anything.

Yay, riddils! Always good fun. My guess is... an armadillo! They always hold the answer! (Well you asked for irrelevant answers ) In a more serious stab at it... is the answer the mind? After all, things like cities and forests are more concepts than real objects...

Armadillo's may hold the answer to everything, but they ate my hamster. And I'll never forgive them, till they achieve cold fusion.
Very nice answer, but not the answer to this riddle I'm afraid. Mainly because I hadn't thought of it

A group convened things in one big place, like a city. A system of many things dependant on one another, like a forest. A route from one place to another, a connection, like a road. If Iacobus hadn't already said it, I'd have said 'Mind' too. After that I'd probably have said 'the Human Body' or something along those lines, but I guess that'd be a bit rubbish. *Is stumped* Wait for it. It'll come...

This is Kaiser we're talking about, he's incapable of something as wise, intelligent or deep as that ;D

Hmmm...so I'm trying to get into the mindset of a part-time megalomaniac with a tendancy to make plans which backfire spectacularly, allowing the good guys to waltz in, blow everything up and claim the moral high-ground.
Hmmm...is it a bacteria colony? ;D

Just got another idea that I felt like throwing at you, since it's fun to throw things. Might it be a map?

Yes! Iaco's got it! I need a fireworks smiley!
Amaunator, your riddle is logical! Argh! You know that I like to apply things in really non-sensible or rational ways just to prove how deep I am! I'll never get it! ;D
You cunning fiend

I have read the Hobbit, but I'm damned if I can remember the answer to that riddle. Is it a cornish pasty? I had a cornish pasty today and it was damn good. I wish I had a pasty right now...
