Ok... Character time. Boy this is hard.
Well we voted on MSN between Holy Paladin and Cunning Hippy Ranger with Ranger as the end result. So that'll be it then.
Name: Thamior Elgaron Race: Half-Elf
Appearence: Being a half-elf(named half-human among elves) Thamior has noticably longer ears then a normal human, though not quite as long as an elfs. He isn't as as slim and dextrous as normal elves. He has long brown hair and green eyes. He wears green clothing and carries a shortbow and a short sword of elven design. He is build quite muscular for one with elven blood.
Biography: Thamior grew up amongst the Elves in the forest, gaining their love for nature and life and learned basic swordsplay and archery from them, though he is nowhere near as good as he would like to think he is. As a Half-Elf though, he grew up a lot faster then the elven children, leaving his childhood friends behind. His childhood ended after 20 years, extremely short in elven terms, who age much slower and live lifes spanning centuries. This time was too short to learn the intricacies of elven art and culture so Thamior kind was kind of out of place in his community. He also had no interest in arcane magic.
Not long after he became overwhelmed with wanderlust and left behind the village he knew. He travelled to the cities. He was quickly overwhelmed by the fastmoving human culture in all it's diversities. He spend 3 months in the cities exploring human culture. He saw wonderful, but also a lot of disturbing things. He saw Evil people and suffering and greed. Though there was also beauty and happiness he failed to see how he could possibly be happy in this busy place devoid of nature's blessings and returned to his village.
Once there though he discovered his village had been attacked by bandits and his mother had been killed defending it. He spend a year grieving, wandering the forest around the village. During this time he found a lost wolf cub and raised it himself. He called the wolf Valior and it became a close companion. He also encountered the damage poachers did to the wildlife and forest.
He left a year later with nothing but a some weapons and his loyal young wolf companion Valior to find a stretch of forest to call his own and protect it.
He currently lives in a forest near Satim. A trade route travels through the area and besides just protecting the forest from poachers, evil and unnatural things he also keeps a watchful eye on the travellers. Ready to protect them from harm and help out, should the need arrise.
Personality: Thamior is always ready to stand up for what is right in his vision. He strongly disapproves of Evil and unnatural things, such as undead. He loves nature and his best friend is his wolf Valior. He is stubborn at times, though not afraid to admit when he was wrong. He doesn't like the cities and is a bit claustrophobic, but will go if it is neccesary. Thamior is smart, but he is not very wise, which can get him in trouble.

Very nice Battle Now we have all the big playas... Excellent. We have a problem however, with Solar being only 16 and thus far under-age for elvenkin... let's double his age shall we?

And last question for this post: What happens if someone dies? [/i][/quote] They they would be dead. Duh ;D Those who are very good friends with the Warlock of Darkholme, the Peacelock of Mesovar or the Dreadlock of Doom Isle might get their passed-away friends resurrected for a fee though As well as several rare artifacts around the region rumoured to bring the spirits alive some way or another.

Hmmm... should we have starting stats and stuff? We could go with Bioware's classic "Strength, dexterity, constitution, intelligence, wisdom, charisma" thing. Or should we avoid this?

no, if we'd follow that then we'd have to throw our dice ... let's just assume that we all know our strengths and limitations, ok?

I'll go get the rule book *Leaves for the 12 volume 4th edition of the rules (or asks LordT who is the rules * True, lets avoid that.

We're just running the B&W style, no stats, just descriptions of your actions. I control stuff that you don't (NPC's if you may) And I control YOU if you do stuff you aren't supposed to, but we're all experienced enough to that not being necessary Hopefully.. (In short... I make the rules) ;D Anyways I'm nearly ready to start the thread. Just need a good name for it... The one that comes it with the best name for the world will be smiled uponn by the mysterious gods of whatever the island is caled

Lord T this land needs a ruler right? Now, having an Emperor or King would a tired cliche Why not have a... Kaiser? ;D You are aware that a kaiser, or as we call it in danish, kejser, actually IS an emperor right? *Kaiser is smitten savagely by the Magic Missile of Doom*

haven't you read his site!!!! He calls himself a kaiser because it isn't a direct descendant of the 'imperator' (latin for ruler). The syllabels have more power and teethcrunching expressions according to him, which I concur .

Of course. But it's German. Which is original. ;D There were only 3 in the whole history of the world! *Kaiser casts dispel magic, A anti-mage Paladins best friend.* *Dispel Magic fails* *Magic Missiles hit* *Kaiser, rather than being killed, abdicates* *Germany is declared a Republic* *A Weimar Republic* *People cheer* *Kaiser snarls* Yes, Amaunator agrees with my reasoning! Für der Deutsch Kaiser! eri.ca/refer/deutschl.MP3Brings a tear to my eye
