Nope, never heard if that game : / Just needed a quick name for a river, and since I am the master of putting two random words together.... ;D All the rivers have names from the times of day... and I suspected that Darkholme was subliminally inspired to me from Warcraft Ok, stats are like this: You're all from Satim, the cute little village near the cute little morning-something river and the cute little Goblin village! That's right... they raid you sometimes but it's nothing serious. In fact they are easy prey for a party of war-horny barbarians looking for loot and combat. *hint* I would like you all to make some kind of background history yourself. You can use as a standing point that you are of noble birth, and thus have had plenty of time to do whatever you felt like. Magic, swordsmanship, theft, whatever,. Your parents didn't care much Be creative, as long as you don't take it too far. You are not the super-specialest hero in teh world, with a magic sword named WorldCleaver that kills everybody if it doesn't taste blood regularly and so forth. You're normal people, in role-playing terms normal at least [edit]: Oh, and feel free to add to the culture of the town. I hope that I won't be alone with creating the cultures in the game. Please add something nice and creative, as long as it doesn't interfere with something mission-critical

Name: Kroro Resnyan Race: Human (do we have races ;D ?) Built: He's a long, slim person with brown, intelligent and staring eyes. Brown hair, triangular head and relatively strong arms and legs from working on the fields in his youth. He seems well fed and bred and dresses in plain light brown (cloack) and dark brown pants, shirt. He's not very charismatic but gets along well enough with people to know when to shut up. Type: He is a born magician, unlike all the others in his family he was born with a magical heritage that made him able to craft and conjure many small items (including gold) for his family, helping them to gain some advancement in their status. Bio: He comes from the farms around Satim. His parents are normal farmers and had no real time and money for him to go to college or school in general. They depend somewhat on his magical skills to acquire more standing. Their crops have been fertile and the prices have been high the latest of years luckily and there was money enough to have Kroro take some lessons with a wizard in the town of Satim. The man had never before seen such a young sorcerer he said and offered to teach Kroro for free, provided he'd be the next teacher in town when he himself would die. Of course, Kroro's parents immediately agreed, for it would enhance their stature some more and Kroro would have a full-time job too. He was taught languages common to the land, both written and spoken and increased his power in conjuring and enchanting. At the tender age of sixteen he was already able to conjure a small clay soldier to guard his parent's properties and fields from vandals and crows. His magical skills kept on growing and while he got more distanced from his parents because they didn't recognise their little boy in him anymore, he decided to go his own way in life. His teacher saw to it that Kroro would hold true to his promise with a magical amulet that would always remind him of returning. Now 21, he has come to Satim to look for another job to do. Accompanied by his 'now' stone golem (as big as Kroro, 186 cm) he is now standing around at the village square of Satim, thinking about this future. (hint hint: come visit me and ask me why I have a grey friend ).

If you invent another race, I won't object Unless it's severely unbalanced... If it has it's strength and qualities so it'll end up at human-level it's fine by me. Of course, Kaiser naturally has abilities beyond Humans, so this doesn't apply to him. Go forth and rule My Soveriegn

Name: Molloc Consilium Race: Human Grew up in a cesspit of moral filth in the slums of Cyrene. Wasn't really to concerned about escaping it nor did he make any vows "to save his folks" or anything like that. Luckily he was exceptionally good at mugging unwary people while accompanied by lots of other kids. Being puny he never got the gold. He got the left overs. Which usually was the books. He didn't teach himself to read, not having the will or intelligence, his parents did, one having a limited education. So with nothing much to do in the slums, he read. And as he read he got more and more anticipation for the next visit of an ignorant noble wandering about his nobility, or the necromancer hiding from those forces of light and inquisition. He grew up and entered the "Academy". A benign order devoted to research and aiding those without magical talent. However, he was recently expelled for "gross misconduct of minor magic", "gross misconduct of objects of minor dark power", "continued use of minor forbidden arts" and for "failing the exam". Farily annoyed he robbed several book shelves before he left Cyrene, a poor and very much limited warlock, seeking wealth and something to kill. He ended up in Satim Their was ample opportunity to rob trade caravans on the way while in the service of local bandits. Amoral, indifferent and rather condscending, he's not a popular person. The only thing he's really annoyed about is that he's human. He'd rather be something with much more natural power. He's currently in the process of trying to find his familar. He also has a nutcracker called Nutcleaver that has the power to crack any nut. This is because no nut has the power of invincibilty. He also grows nuts since he likes to crack them.
Oh and he can look at everyone with a stare.

Name: Tuskar Bolem
Race: Human
Build/Appearance: A bit shorter than average and quite skinny. He has long, thick, unkempt hair and eyes that seem a little too big for his face. He wears a long coat over his normal clothes, and a satchel over one shoulder. The only self-defence equipment he carries is a knife, which hangs in its sheath at his waist.
Type: He's not particularly strong, and only able to practice very basic magics, but he has a knack for crafting things. He's good with his hands, making him quite effective with small weapons, though he would rarely try to get into a fight.
Bio: He was born and raised in Satim, but he and his family have travelled quite extensively, though staying away from any dangerous areas. On their many journeys, Tuskar met many people. Merchants, craftsmen, even a few magicians took an interest in the little boy. They taught him things, little tricks of the trade that not everyone knows about, giving him a general insight into how things work. Eventually, they settled in Cyrene, where they set up a small inn. Tuskar wasn't happy though. He disliked the claustrophobic streets of the city, and as soon as he was old enough, he moved out of his parent's inn and set off back to his birthplace. He's quiet, but inquisitive and hates not knowing the mechanics of things. Therefore, it seems right to him to see as much of the world as possible, to glean as much knowledge from it as he can. Unfortunately, he doesn't know where to start...

Let's give the last people a chance to create a character, and then make a new thread... "Listen up you maggots" isn't a very good name for an RP ;D

Meh, I like it ;D If you do make a new thread, you should put the character profiles on the first post so that people have a reference to each other's characters. Assuming that there isn't a time limit on the edit, you could add other profiles as they join.
