I saw it... and... OMG it pwned! ;D How many of you have seen it so far? I will refrain from spilling the beans too much until a good few have seen it. One thing that we may all safely assume is that Yoda pwns as always, as well as General Grievous having teh 1337 fighting styles. In addition, it has the best fight scenes in the entire series. I mean, RADICAL improvement. They actually fought believably this time /me is high on SW.

*Yawn*
What's funny about a green dwarf, some dumb kid who thinks he's mighty, and some guy with a weird name?
And don't forget the average odd allien and robots and boring jedi's...

I haven't seen it yet, but I intend to when an opportunity presents itself. I'll probably go see it with my dad, seeing as we always go out to see nerdy or mindless films.
Solar, clearly you haven't played Knights of the Old Republic, becuase then you'd know that the Jedi are the most blingin pimps in space. They're effectively magic ninja samurai for christs sake!
Besides the fight at the end of Episode I kicked ass, despite the rest of the film sucking.

I'm just going to ignore that. Where is your fascination for power? Can you not see the cool thing in a) Having a lightsaber? b) Having the Force?
I hope for Mankind I don't get superpowers.. EVER... I'll abuse them so much ;D

I've waited for so long for Star Wars to shed the happy ending. And lo and behold, a very dark film where rebels don't win! Long live the Empire!
Death galore! I'll see it... hopefully soon
And Knights of the Old Republic rocks!

Bludgeonman, clearly I HAVE played SWKOTOR! Muahaha! But those stories are OLD... Someone goes to the dark side, he gets beaten up by some orc and some goodly paladin-like jedi etc... When will it be more interesting... SWKOTOR wasn't bad BTW.

Having one of those days again Solar?
I'm going to see episode III as soon as I can . We've been given free tickets to see any movie in the cinema line that did the absolute launch . My brother's seen it already and he told us that somebody made himself his own Boba Fett suit .

Saw it a while back (but as I've been busy I haven't had time to post ).
It was fantastic, nice to see the bad guys have their rightful triumph. I mean, we all know that Palpatine is God ;D and he pwned the Jedi's ass, even when he was beaten. Poor jedi, if only *someone* had turned around after they left the room. Then they would notice he laughs sadistically after he says something like "I love Democracy".
Some of the dialogue was a bit.. bad Like Vader's "Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" But it still kicked ass. Needed more Yoda being thrown against walls though. About time someone actually made him disabled, that little benefits conman

It was a quality film with regards to special effects and stuff like that. Unfortunately, the dialogue sucked ass, big time. Plus, what was with that damn cockney kid in the Jedi temple? "Will it be or'right, Masker Anakin?" made me laugh whilst small children were being massacred. I felt so bad.
There were other bits in it that I didn't like either. Like "Noooooooo!"

Why does everybody have a problem with "noooooooooooooooooo" all of a sudden I admire how George Lucas managed to trap all of Anakin's despair, internal turmoil and desperation in one single word.

That is true, he revealed all of that through a marvellous exploitation of a single negative.
With the arm waving, and slow waist turning and the gleeful emperor *glavin*
Though it's like Sauron going: "Darn, they threw my ring in that rather splendid inferno, well that's a crying shame. It seems I'd better return to my life as a painter and decorator. Mrs Higgins wallpaper won't paste itself!"
It was nicely out of character for the fictional villain we all know and loved.
Way to emasculate Vader, Lucas ;D

I don't see why he was out of character ... You must not forget that at the time he is still a boy without any decent way of expressing his emotions. That 'nooo' did indeed quite capture both his youthfulness and his utmost grief.
The stern and insidious Darth Vader from the later movies has grown cold and left untouched by the hardships of life. The pain he had felt so long ago had made him a bittered man, so bitter that it had rotten away his heart.
Just think about it, it's quite logical really, though I could be looking too deep into it.

That is a fair point. He was not the adult and evil vader. However, the line "nooooooooo" is neither somethign he would say, nor is it something profound enough to warrant excuse.
I mean if something tragically heart-breaking happens, you don't open your arms to the heavens and yell "nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo". I mean perhaps mumble it amidst tears, but don't go into an overzealous and rather corny cry of "the negative". He didn't even sound sad, it was more like:
"Lord Vader, you have lost your car keys" "Noooooooooooooooooooo!"
I can understand Vader being unable to express his sadness, so don't express it. Look solemn, act disheartened, whine. But don't go into histrionics and melodrama.

Hehe, nice new Karma level Kaiser I have a histrionic aunt... So annoying... Anyways, Vader did the right thing. He'll need the melodrama practice for the later films.

Lord Terrible, I can't help but notice that your Gender thingy now says that you are female. Have you been doing experiments? I didn't really get Anakin's character at all. Like, he went from 'no! What have I done!?' to 'I bow before you, master,' in a matter of moments. Talk about undecided opinions... And as for the emperor - 'BLEEAAAAGHH!!! I'M EEEVIL!!'
